Get Started on CoreDAO

For those who are from other Chains, and want to take your first step on CoreDAO

• If you don’t have MetaMask

• Cross-chain Assets

If you don’t have MetaMask

Install MetaMask Browser Extension

Visit the MetaMask website or browser extension marketplace and download the MetaMask extension for your preferred web browser

Visit https://metamask.io/ and select the link for your web browser

Install the browser extension and confirm the prompts

Create a MetaMask Wallet

Once the installation is completed you should be forwarded to a “Welcome” screen, start by clicking “Get Started”

Welcome Screen: Click “Get Started”

Then click “Create a Wallet”

MetaMask Password

Create a password to be used to secure your MetaMask plugin. This is so that no-one can see your account info without entering the password.

Wallet Secret Backup Phrase

Your new wallet will have a secret backup phrase. This is for recovering your wallet and must be kept secret. You should write down these words on a piece of paper and store them in a secure location in case of an issue requiring the recovery of your wallet.

Connect MetaMask to Core Mainnet

Now that your wallet is setup, we need to configure it to connect to Core DAO, this is easy to do and easy to change between networks using the button near the top of the app

Click the network selection button near the top of the app

Click on “Custom RPC” if you have not previously added the Core Mainnet information

Select ‘Custom RPC’

Enter the Core Mainnet details as follows:

• Network Name: Core Blockchain

• New RPC URL: https://rpc.coredao.org/

• Chain ID：1116

• Currency Symbol: CORE

• Block Explorer URL: https://scan.coredao.org

Enter Core Mainnet details and save

Cross-chain Assets

Access to IceCreamSwap: https://icecreamswap.com/

Connect your Wallet, IceCreamSwap is now supporting up to 15 wallets

Click the “Bridge” button to start Bridging

IceCreamSwap is now supporting 5 chains: BSC, Doge, Fuse, and XDC

Home Chain is your current Chain, and Target Chain is your target bridge chain (CoreDAO)

And, choose assets you want to bridge

There will be a 1% Bridging fee per transaction applied

Finally, finish your bridge stage, and enjoy experiencing products on Core Blockchain (CoreDAO)
